Doenjang Jjigae (Korean soybean paste stew). The quintessential Korean stew! Our doenjang Jjigae is a rich, bubbling stew made with fermented Korean soybean paste (Doenjang), giving it a deep, savory, and wonderfully earthy flavor. The stew is packed with cubes of soft tofu, seasonal vegetables (such as zucchini and onion), and often mushrooms or thin slices of meat. It is simmered in a light vegetable broth until the flavors meld perfectly. A wonderfully wholesome and comforting dish, traditionally served with rice.
